This is a year of BIG TAX Refunds. Make sure you have all the required documents to file your tax return. Any misinformation might cause big delays in processing your return of up to 90 days!

Accoring to the IRS, it can take between 90 to 120 days to process a return with errors (not properly reporting stimulus funds or the advance child tax credit and not properly reporting wages). DO NOT RUSH to file your tax return to apply for a advance! Providing your tax preparer with inadequate or inaccurate information can cause delays in your refund!

State and local governments are experiencing delays, in providing individuals with tax information, due to the recent increase in COVID in the U.S. As a tax payer you may need to set up online accounts with the IRS and Social security to access information needed to file your tax return.

According to the IRS, Advance Child Tax Credit (ACTC), Letter 6419 AND Economic Impact Payment (EIP), Letter 6475 will be mailed in late December and January! These letters will help you accurately report your Advance Child Tax Credit Payments and Stimulus Payments. This information will be available online as well. Please make sure you accurately report this information to avoid delays in receiving your tax return!
