🐾❤️ It’s National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week! ❤️🐾 At Douglas County Animal Shelter, every walk, donated supply, foster home, adoption and shared post helps give our animals a brighter future. This week, we’re celebrating our staff, volunteers, fosters, adopters and supporters who make that care possible. Thank you for being part of our DCAS family!
One wonderful way to celebrate is to help our available animals find their forever homes! 🏡
🐶 OAKLEY — This handsome shepherd mix turns 4 this month! He’s good with children and other dogs and needs a home without cats. Oakley loves adventures with our volunteers and would love a family of his own. His adoption fee is fully sponsored—$0 with an approved application!
🐶 RAVEN — A 1-year-old, spayed Shar-Pei/pit bull mix who LOVES walks and does well on a leash! This sweet girl is ready to share plenty of love and kisses. She is okay with cats and needs a meet and greet with other dogs.
🐱 SAMANTHA — Approximately 3 years old, Samantha is a super chill, sweet girl with gorgeous green eyes. She’s ready for a cozy home and a family to love!
🐱 SABRINA — Approximately 7 years old, Sabrina is an incredibly sweet, laid-back girl who loves relaxing in her bed. She’ll happily climb onto you for affection and snuggles! She’s ready to find someone to share cozy days with. ❤️
