I just want to take a moment to wish all of the Fathers a Happy Father's Day. It's moments like these that cause me to reflect on my father. Although he's now in the presence of his Lord, I see his reflection in me and thank God for his life.

Greetings beloved of God. Yesterday we began what is known as "Lent Season". For the next 40 days Christians all over the world will be preparing themselves through fasting, special times of prayer, through personal reflections on the life, death, burial , and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Many Christians will be participating in different types of fast. Fasting is the abstaining from foods, behaviors, activities or many different things for the purpose of drawing near to God. Remember the admonition of scripture, Whatever you do in word or deed do it all to the glory of God. Please stay tuned, as I will be posting different things during this season of lent.
