Tuttle Vision 2050
Guiding Tuttle’s Path With Purpose

What Is a Comprehensive Plan?

A Comprehensive Plan establishes a long-term vision for a community and guides decisions about future growth, development, infrastructure, and public resources. It identifies community values, establishes goals, and outlines strategies to help city leaders balance today’s priorities with tomorrow’s needs.

Tuttle Vision 2050 serves as the City of Tuttle’s policy guide for future growth and development, helping ensure that decisions reflect the community’s vision and long-term priorities.

Why Update the Plan?

In October 2025, the City of Tuttle contracted with Verdunity, a land use planning firm, to develop a Comprehensive Plan.

Tuttle and the surrounding region have experienced significant changes, including evolving community needs, development pressures, and ongoing challenges related to taxes and infrastructure.

Tuttle Vision 2050 addresses current challenges and future opportunities. The Plan provides a framework to guide land use, infrastructure investment, community development, and long-term fiscal sustainability.

Community Engagement

Community input has been an important part of developing Tuttle Vision 2050. The City gathered feedback from residents, local business owners, City staff, and other community stakeholders to help shape the Plan’s goals and recommendations.

A Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC), consisting of residents, business owners, and key stakeholders, provided guidance throughout the planning process. Committee members reviewed findings, ideas, maps, and draft materials at key milestones.

The City also offered multiple opportunities for residents to participate, including community events, pop-up activities, presentations, discussions, and online surveys promoted through City communication channels and outreach materials.

This engagement process helped identify community priorities and build a shared vision for managing growth, addressing infrastructure needs, and strengthening Tuttle’s long-term financial resilience.

Guiding Tuttle’s Future

Community feedback, combined with research and analysis by the planning consultant, informed the Plan’s goals, objectives, and implementation strategies. Together, these elements provide a roadmap for future decisions and investments while allowing the City to respond to changing community needs.

Tuttle Vision 2050 is intended to help guide City leadership, elected officials, and staff as they work to preserve what makes Tuttle unique while planning responsibly for the future.

A great opportunity for the class and others to see the helicopter and speak with the pilot and medical staff. Thank you AirEvac and THS for hosting a valuable experience for all.

Good morning!
After a cold start this morning, temperatures across the Tuttle area will warm nicely, with highs reaching the mid-60s to around 70°F this afternoon. ☀️ Light winds return, however a great day to get outdoors with family and friends. 😎

That’s a few degrees warmer than yesterday, but temperatures will still remain below normal for this time of year.
