South Central Community Action Partnership SCCAP provides community and individual support services, advice and direction toward improving the economic and social well-being of all people.

SCCAP's mission is to provide a wide range of services in collaboration with community partners in an effort to help improve the quality of life for people with an economic disadvantage We believe that helping individuals to become financially stable helps strengthen the well-being of the entire community. We seek to bring out the best in people by promoting self-esteem and dignity. We use our resources to reduce hunger, homelessness, and poverty. Our Board of Directors and staff are committed to helping people change their lives by providing the tools to remove obstacles to help themselves.

On Friday some of our team and our CEO had the opportunity to jump in and volunteer with many community members and non profits at the Chobani and CSI's Let's Eat Week Initiative working alongside others to build 2, 000 food boxes to be delivered to local food banks to feed Magic Valley families! It was a wonderful day full of energy, excitement and comminity coming together for the greater good.

A huge shout out to CHOBANI for their donation of 150 boxes to South Central Community Action Partnership food bank and another Shout out this last week to Cliff Bar for their donation of 121 cases of meal boxes with a total of 30,000 meals donated to SCCAP food bank. We are so thankful and gracious for your donations that go to feed our Magic Valley
communities.

Terrific Tuesday:

Today we want to Highlight our Twin Falls CSBG team who for two program years in a row have been awarded for their Excellence in Performance in Delivering Homeless Prevention Services throughout the eight Counties of Magic Valley (Region 4).

In 2025-2026 they received the " Peak Performer" award for annual evaluations, Best Access Point Data Quality Timeliness, and were recognized for their Precision and Punctuality showing Data Quality reaching the highest timeliness rate at 96 % across the entire State of Idaho.

In the previous year they were recognized for being the most expanded agency in Rapid Rehousing services across the State of Idaho.

Under the Direction of our CSBG Director Rosanna and our Twin Falls Stability Lead Lorena Ramirez as well as our Cassia County Stability Lead Ana Del Rio our CSBG Program continues to be a strong resource throughout the Magic Valley in preventing homelessness with our Homeless Prevention Programs and Rapid Rehousing programs. We could not do this without the support of community and continued support from Continuum of Care funding.

A couple of months ago we held our Annual meeting where we were able to seat three new Board Members (David Wilson, Christie Soderquist, and Ray Parrish) and present our 2026-2027 Board of Directors with a token of appreciation for their dedication and service to our organization. We also voted on our 2026-2027 Board of Directors officers who are:
