TRAINING TODAY. READY TOMORROW.
Today was a big day of training for the Twinsburg Fire Department! Our crews participated in live burn training, working through multiple fire scenarios under the direction of certified instructors. With several crews and a coordinated command structure, we were able to put our skills, teamwork, and decision-making to the test in a realistic environment.

A day like this takes a community effort, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it possible!

Today Twinsburg Fire will be doing live burn training at a house on E. Aurora Rd. Just west of church street. This will cause a portion of the westbound curb lane to be closed. Please be cautious while passing by.

The sidewalk will be closed from the edge of the safety zone to Dunkin’ Donuts driveway.

This will allow us to have a safe working area during this training event. The training will conclude late this afternoon.

Cleveland Water has lifted the boil advisory that affected portions of Twinsburg. Water testing has been completed, and the boil advisory is no longer in effect.

Residents in the affected area may now resume normal use of their water without boiling it first.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while Cleveland Water completed the necessary repairs and testing.

Now Hiring: Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedic

The Twinsburg Fire Department is looking for candidates ready to make a difference in our community.

Salary: $76,320–$93,770

UPDATE: BOIL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT

NOVEMBER 18, 1026 - 4:45 PM

Cleveland Water has completed the initial stages of repairing the water main break affecting customers in portions of northeast Twinsburg, Macedonia and Northfield.

Water quality testing is underway, and Cleveland Water is hopeful that results expected around 8 a.m. Saturday will allow the boil advisory to be lifted.

Until Cleveland Water officially lifts the advisory, it remains in effect. Residents in the affected area should continue to boil water before using it or use bottled water.

We will provide another update as soon as additional information is available from Cleveland Water.

BOIL ADVISORY ISSUED

Cleveland Water has issued a Boil Advisory for customers in parts of Twinsburg, Macedonia and Northfield following a water main break that occurred late Thursday evening, Sept. 17.

Customers in the affected area should boil tap water before drinking or using it for cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or other consumption — or use bottled water.

The advisory will remain in effect until it is lifted by Cleveland Water.

Each shift trains together to build strength and endurance. It also is an opportunity to push each other and build camaraderie amongst the shift. This relationship is beyond measure when lives are at stake.

Today “B-Shift” took to the stairs of Tiger Stadium to not only to climb the stairs as the FDNY 343 did, but also for the “Seniors” to share their accounts of 9/11/01 to those who were born After that day or too young to really remember it.
