Eldo passed away last year and I'm his daughter, Jessie Rose. I'm probably going to close this page down and let the new owners of the Carbo House set up a facebook profile if they want to. My dad loved this place and especially being a low rent apartment building for the poor and marginalized to live on Tybee Island. He always wanted the Carbo House to be a place where people hung out because there was a business selling food or random items there. And I'm glad the new owners are modernizing the place while still keeping his spirit around. I'm still figuring out how to deal with this page so it might be a bit before I finish up. At least there's no beached boat taking up space in the parking lot, lol.
