Last week was full of fun at the Lower Campus!

💙💛 Michael Pettiette from Region 7 joined us in the libraries and gave our Pre-K students a story time they won’t forget. 📚✨ We kept the energy going with lots of pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, “cloud” letter writing in Ms. Calhoun’s weather unit, and a sweet visit from Kona Ice to top it all off! 🎀☁️🍧

Just another great week of learning, laughing, and making memories together!

Celebrating Our Cumberland Academy Principals! October is Principal Appreciation Month, and we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible leaders who serve our Cumberland Academy students, staff, and families every day.

Our principals are more than school leaders. They are encouragers, problem-solvers, instructional leaders, advocates, and the steady presence our campuses need each day. They build relationships, support teachers, celebrate students, navigate challenges, and help create school communities where every student can know, “I am known. I belong. I am safe. I am valued.”

We are grateful for the time, energy, heart, and leadership our principals bring to Cumberland each day. Their work makes a difference—not only in the classrooms, but throughout our entire school community.

Please join us in celebrating and thanking our principals for all they do!

🌴🌺 Tropical Island Day! 🌺🌴

Our scholars and staff brought the island vibes today as we continued celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! From bright colors to tropical looks, we had so much fun celebrating the cultures of places like Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. 🌺🌴☀️
