We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic death of a Smith County Sheriff’s Deputy, who passed away early this morning while in the line of duty.

Please keep his family, and his fellow law enforcement family who mourn his passing so deeply in your thoughts and prayers. 💙

Archie Thomas, an Army Air Corp Veteran and former POW turns 100 years old on July 13! Mr. Thomas served in World War II and is a Purple Heart Recipient. All he wants for his birthday is 100 birthday cards – let's make it happen for this American hero!
