Great Throwback Thursday to earlier this year!

We saw a need and filled the streets. Launching the movement to declare that Peace begins with US, our Families and our Communities.

There’s 4/5 generations stepping with us in agreement and agreement is a powerful force.

This is why we exist. To be a solution and bridge.

Today, our truck is full and so is our hope for what’s ahead. 💛

We picked up chairs for waiting families and staff, a round table, office supplies, a four-month planning calendar, chess and puzzles, and paint!

Every item has a purpose. A chair says, “There’s a place for you.” Organized supplies help our team serve with care. Games create opportunities for connection. Fresh paint helps turn a room into a welcoming space.

It’s all still in the truck, but this is what progress looks like: gathering what we need to welcome families with dignity.

Little by little, Empty Spaces Community Resource Hub in North Tyler is coming together and you can help us take the next step.

TYLER, LET’S MAKE ROOM FOR HOPE!

We’re looking for volunteers to help clean, organize, and paint the Empty Spaces Community Resource Center in North Tyler and we need your helping hands!

We’re preparing a welcoming place where individuals and families can share their needs, connect with resources, and find support during difficult times.

Before we welcome families, there’s work to do:

Clean and refresh the space
Organize supplies and furnishings
Paint and help bring the center to life

Whether you’re coming as an individual, a church group, a business team, or a group of friends, we’d love to hear from you.

You’re helping prepare a place for someone who may be walking through one of the hardest seasons of their life. Your time matters.

It’s never been about the Title, it’s about the service. The ability and willingness to create a new story for Tylerites.

My life experiences have given me a worldwide view of how our people can and are thriving throughout nations.

I want the same for my community here. It’s a big vision and I’m willing to continue to work on it.
