🚒🔥 Walthall County firemen were honored to visit Salem Attendance Center and Tylertown Primary School!

Firefighters from 4th District VFD and Tylertown VFD enjoyed showing the students the fire trucks, talking about what firefighters do, and sharing important fire safety information.

Thank you to Salem Attendance Center and Tylertown Primary School for having us and allowing us to spend some time with the students! 🚒👨‍🚒🔥

Today, we pause to remember the 343 firefighters and all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

As firefighters, we will always honor the courage of those who answered the call that morning—knowing the danger, but going anyway.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

9•11•2001 — Never Forget.

Walthall County Fire Service would like to thank DripDrop and National Volunteer Fire Council for including Fourth District Volunteer Fire/Rescue in their Hydration Giveback Campaign! This donation of DripDrop electrolyte drink mix will help keep our firefighters hydrated during training, emergency responses, extreme heat, and long incidents. Staying hydrated helps our crews perform at their best and stay safe on the job. Cameron Rob Boyd Kirk Bobb

The Walthall County Fire Service would like to recognize and thank the dedicated volunteers from Lexie, 3rd District, and 4th District Volunteer Fire Department for taking the time to complete their Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
This course included CPR, AED training, and instruction on the proper administration of oxygen, equipping these members with the knowledge and skills to provide immediate, lifesaving care until advanced medical personnel arrive.

These certifications represent more than just completing a class—they reflect a commitment to serving others and making our communities safer. The willingness of these volunteers to continue their training ensures they are prepared to make a difference when every second counts.

Thank you to each of these members for your dedication, your service, and your commitment to protecting the citizens of Walthall County. Your communities are stronger because of your willingness to serve.
