🚨 Dugway Fire update 🚨

In the early hours this morning, a fire was reported near the mouth of the canyon, just east of town. Thanks to the rapid and professional response of the Weber Fire Department, crews were able to quickly gain control of the blaze and stop the immediate threat to our community.

Emergency personnel remain on the scene to monitor conditions and extinguish any remaining hot spots.

Residents should expect to see continued smoke in the area throughout the day as these mop-up operations continue.

Important Public Safety Notes:

Power Outages: Power is currently out in the affected area. Crews are working to assess and restore service as safely and quickly as possible.

Travel & Caution: Please avoid the area if possible, and use extreme caution if you must travel near the canyon. Give first responders and utility crews the space they need to work safely.

We will share further updates here as soon as more information becomes available regarding power restoration and final containment.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
