The Underwood Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow firefighters of Council Bluffs Firefighter/Medic Charles Jones.

As Chief Robert Schoening shared, “We are grateful for his service, his friendship, and the lasting impact he made on those who had the privilege of working alongside him.”

We honor his 19 years of dedicated service and the sacrifices made in protecting his community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children, and the entire Council Bluffs Fire Department during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Firefighter Jones. Thank you for your service.
