Congratulations to Mr. Jaime Jaramillo on his retirement from Centro de Servicios. Even before he was the Executive Director there, Jaime was giving back to the people of Decoto and Union City.
I have known Mr. Jaramillo most of my 54 years. He is a man that gives of himself to others always and never asks for anything in return.
I am proud to have served on the Board of Directors for Centro de Servicios from 2016-2018. There, I got to see up close this man's dedication to our barrio and our City.
Enjoy your retirement my friend. May your travels be long and your worries be light...

And the endorsements from Labor keep coming in. I am happy to announce that I have received the endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 595!
This is a continuation of the collaboration between the City of Union City under Mayor Gary Singh and Labor to make sure that we work to create jobs that not only pay well, but provide good benefits and a decent pension.
Many thanks to all my brothers and sisters in Labor that are supporting my re-election!😀

This was in today’s East Bay Insider. It talks about the five themes that were approved by Council on Tuesday for the Decoto Mural Project and how it took so long to get to this place.
There is still more to do. But we are now making great progress!
Thank you all!!!
