COR builds the leadership capacity of ordinary people throughout south Alameda County, empowering th Effective January 2020. Main office is in Oakland.
Congregation Organizing for Renewal merged with OCO (Oakland Community Oranization). We are now known as Faith in Action East Bay. We represent South County with an office at Our Lady of the Rosary church office, Union City.
Please note: Congregations Organizing for Renewal (COR) merged with OCO Jan 2020. The 2 organizations are now known as Faith in Action East Bay (FIAEB). Former members of COR are still Organizing in So. Alameda County but as FIAEB.
Congregations Organizing for Renewal merged with OCO and CCISCO to form Faith in Action East Bay (FIAEB) on January 2, 2020. The name COR is no longer in existence. Through our Local Organizing Committee (LOC) we are still actively working in our community in Union City, still based at Our Lay of the Rosary.

We will be their in Solidarity with Sikh Community! On Monday evening a Sikh gentleman was out for his evening walk near Lake Chad in the Lake neighborhoods of . He was assaulted by two young men and sustained significant injury and trauma. We are asking you to share widely and come out with your masks on, heads high, and fists clenched for justice.
