On an average, families waste about $1,200 worth of food every year. Wasted food translates into less availability leading to food insecurity and poverty. Daily Bowl joined other like minded organizations talking about food equity, access, solutions, advocating for funding and continued involvement to a room full of philanthropic foundations and county officials. A wonderful experience.
