Norfolk Southern will begin performing railroad work today. This work was originally scheduled to begin last week but was delayed until this week. The affected railroad crossings are expected to remain closed for approximately two-three days while the work is being completed.

Emergency plans are in place should emergency services need to access areas affected by the railroad work. If you live in an area with only one way in and out, Norfolk Southern has advised residents to park their vehicles along the side of the road, as they will be unable to drive across the railroad tracks while the work is being performed.

Please use caution around affected railroad crossings and follow any posted detours or road closure signs.
