The October fun continues at Big Bone Lick as the veil between our world and the next grows thinner and thinner. Spot witches and ghouls at mini golf for the rest of the month.

$5 per player (free for 5 and younger)
Sun - Thurs 10am to 5pm (last play at 4:30pm)
Fri & Sat 10am to 9pm (last play at 8:30pm)

A mammoth THANK YOU to everyone that helped make the 42nd annual Salt Festival a success!!

We couldn't have done it without our amazing park staff, staff from other Kentucky State Parks, central office staff, local businesses, sponsors, vendors, demonstrators, educators, community partners, and of course all of you that came out to support the event. It's you that keeps this event thriving year after year!

We can't wait to see all of you again in a year's time for the 43rd annual Salt Festival, October 15-17!

Another 2,500+ visitors explored the Salt Festival at Big Bone Lick today for our second day open. It was a perfect day with amazing weather, but it doesn't stop there. Sunday holds more music, dance, history, and fun for everyone.

Thank you to everyone that braved the cold and rain to be there for the first day of the 42nd Salt Festival. We kicked the weekend off with over 2,000 visitors! The rest of the weekend will be filled with even more fun and good times. We can't wait to see you there!
