It's Monday once again and time to hear from one of our younger 4-H members, Gregory of Spring Bluff 4-H Club! Gregory was a Clover Kid last year and came to Overnight Clover Kids Camp. Gregory had the opportunity to spend the night in a beautiful log cabin along side other Clover Kids and families and make some awesome memories along the way! Check out his story about what he enjoyed about 4-H last year.

"In 4-H, I got to go to the Clover Kids Camp. I had so much fun spending the night in the cabins. We did fun activities like hiking, catching fireflies, and we had s'mores. I slept in a bunk bed. I also showed rabbits at the fair and had fun doing that. My rabbit's name is Big Chungus, and he's amazing! I get to do 4-H next year and am so excited to do even more things!"

Gregory - we are so glad that you attended Clover Kids Camp last summer! We can't wait to welcome you back again this year to make even more wonderful memories! There are so many fun things to learn, explore, and experience in 4-H, and we're excited to see what adventures await you next!

Happy Monday to all! It's a beautiful fall day and time to share another 4-H story! Meet Blake of Go Hog Wild 4-H Club. Blake is a teen who joined 4-H for the first time last year and had a ball! Check out his story:

"This year was my first year in 4-H, and I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the Go Hog Wild 4-H Club. I really enjoyed raising two market hogs and showing one at the Washington Town & Country Fair. I also did the Bacon Project where we made our own bacon at Williams Brothers. It was neat being able to do it all. We trimmed, seasoned, hung it up to be smoked, and then got to slice and package our own bacon over the course of the week. My leader, Trisha, has also been very welcoming and willing to answer any questions my family had. I look forward to continuing showing and doing better every year."

Thank you, Blake, for sharing your story! It sounds like you had a fantastic year and learned so much along the way!

4-H has something to offer youth of all ages, including teens who are looking for new opportunities, new skills, and ways to get involved in their communities. We welcome teens who are thinking about joining 4-H to come see what it's all about!
