🎓💙 CONGRATULATIONS, LEA! 💙🎓

On Monday, Unionville Rotary Club President, Dr. Joel Pratt, visited Putnam County High School to present senior Lea Simmons with the Rotary Student of the Month Award for September!

This honor recognizes students who consistently demonstrate the qualities that make a meaningful difference in their school and community, including a positive attitude, strong character, leadership, service to others, responsibility, and a commitment to excellence.

Lea exemplifies these qualities through the way she leads, serves, and contributes to the Putnam County R-I community. Her dedication and positive influence make her a wonderful representative of our school and a deserving recipient of this recognition.

Please join us in congratulating Lea on this outstanding achievement! We are proud of you, Lea! 💙🤍

A special thank-you to Dr. Pratt and the Unionville Rotary Club for recognizing and encouraging the accomplishments of our students. Partnerships like this help celebrate the character, leadership, and service that strengthen our school and community.

We held our first PCMS Character Education Assembly of the school year last Thursday during Homecoming week and recognized students who are setting a great example for their classmates. Heather Davis joined us to present the Rotary Student of the Month awards to Christian S for August and Rowdy B for September. Thank you to Heather and the Unionville Rotary Club for continuing to celebrate students who show good character, service, friendliness, and honesty!
