In the early morning hours of the first day of September, Unity fire, along with our mutual aid partners were dispatched to reported structure fire on School St in Unity. Initial reports of fire in attic and coming out the roof.
Once on scene, we encountered heavy fire coming out the back side of the building on a second story apartment. With the quick response of everyone involved we were able to contain the fire to that area. There is extensive damage, however other parts of the apartment building where saved and everyone made it out safe..
