I don't live in Universal City, but if I did, Lori Blackburn Putt would get my vote for City Council.

I still remember the first visit from Lori and Cheryl Maxwell when my business was just getting off the ground and I was looking for ways to increase foot traffic. They suggested/told me to join the Universal City page. It was the best advice!

I say that to say this, there was no benefit in helping my business, except to help improve Universal City. That is what drives Lori, her love for this city and ways to make it better.

I live in Cibolo and wish we had a Parks Partners program to help grow our parks as our city grows. We need a Lori Putt and so does Universal City. Be sure to vote for someone that will continue to make your city better and not look for ways to tear it down.

My 2 cents.

Quick reminder during campaign season:

Not everything you hear at the door is the full story.

✔️ Tax adjustment = about $39/year on a $250k home
✔️ Done to maintain city services
✔️ Economic development = sales tax, not property tax
✔️ Supports local businesses and growth

Before you decide, ask:
• What’s the full context?
• How do they support local business?

It’s easy to focus on what you’re against—
what have you actually accomplished?

I’m always happy to answer questions directly.

Verify. Ask. Stay informed.

Voting NO is easy. Building solutions is harder.

Phone found at American Bank yesterday. One of my customers was walking by American Bank after they closed yesterday and found a phone in the Parking lot. If you lost your phone there yesterday, it has been turned in to the bank.
