🚨🚨Aid Alert & Call for Volunteers🚨🚨

Sierra Club - Eastern Missouri Group outings leaders & volunteers will be heading to O’Fallon Park, meeting at the YMCA (4343 W Florissant Ave Saint Louis, MO 63115) to assist with clean up and clearing debris today at 2PM! **We invite you to join us!!!**

Friday’s tornado has impacted thousands of our neighbors in STL and it’s time for community action to address the climate crisis impacting our city.

We encourage you to bring work gloves, trashbags, rakes, push brooms, loopers, hand pruners, and other clean up materials. If you are trained and own a chainsaw, we welcome you as well!

The storm has picked up a lot of dust in the area as well, so we encourage masks to protect yourself in poor air quality!

Other items to bring to donate include:
-Water
-Batteries
-Candles/Lighters
-Non-perishable food that does not require can openers
-Cleaning supplies
-Diapers

Caroline here: attended Chapter & Grassroots Network SC meeting in TN. Great to meet Anne from MT whom I’ve known virtually for years. And to get a “ride” from Andy from Mo who now does digital support for the Club. Listening, learning and being inspired, even in these difficult times.

We have the opportunity to speak out to hold Spire accountable for raising our rates. Learn more: bit.ly/SpireRateCase

Speak out against unnecessary rate increases! Spire just raised our gas bill, now they want to do it again to make Missouri customers pay for their poor business decisions so they can continue to rake in a greater profit.
