A Scout project with a sustainable impact! ♻️ Jonathan Cejka partnered with the Parks Department on his Eagle Scout project, installing a recycling receptacle near the playground at Williams Park and conducting several audits to help us better understand how much recyclable material is generated there.

Well done, Jonathan, and thank you for helping care for our parks!

Temporary Connection to Dallas Water Utilities

The Dallas County Park Cities Municipal Utility District (DCPCMUD), which supplies University Park’s water, will temporarily connect to Dallas Water Utilities and blend Dallas water with our usual supply due to a drop in normal chlorine levels following a treatment issue at the DCPCMUD’s plant.

Chlorine levels remain within a safe range and are stabilizing. Residents may not notice any difference as the water supplies are blended. City crews are also flushing water lines near the connection point, so residents may notice water flowing in the area.

We will post an update once available.
