🚧 Road Closure Notice – Possum Hollow Drive 🚧

Starting Monday, October 26, Possum Hollow Drive will be closed to through traffic while Camden County Road & Bridge replaces the existing low water crossing.

The closure is expected to last approximately 2-3 weeks, weather and construction conditions permitting.

We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete these improvements. The new crossing will provide a safer and more reliable roadway for residents and visitors.

Please plan alternate routes during this time and use caution around the work zone.

On Monday, October 19th, we will close a section of Asbury Lane at approximately 8:00 a.m. to install a new culvert pipe. The closure is expected to last a couple of hours. If you have any questions or concerns please call 573-346-4471 or email [email protected].

Next Monday, August 3rd, we will be closing Banister Hollow bridge at Cedar Camp. Expect the closure to last until next Thursday. If you have any questions or concerns please email [email protected] or call us at 573-346-4471.

We will be closing Coffey Hollow at Juan’s slab tomorrow around 8:00 am to make repairs. We hope to reopen it Wednesday morning. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email [email protected].

We were able to clear some more trees today after the electric companies/co-ops made it out to kill the power. We are aware we still have more to get to. If you have a location we haven’t made it to yet please email [email protected] or you can call tomorrow morning at 573-346-4471.

We’ve made a list of roads from the previous Facebook post so there’s no need to repeat those.

Really want to thank all of the citizens, fire departments, EMA, deputies, troopers and linemen that helped us out this weekend. We really do appreciate it.

Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Independence Day. We will be back out in full force tomorrow.

If there’s a tree down on a county road we haven’t got to yet please leave the location (road name and address if possible) in the comments.

The one on Ozark Isle has a power line wrapped up in it. We will have to wait until the line is repaired before removing it.

🚨 EDIT 🚨

We will have to wait until the electric companies get the power turned off for the trees with the power lines wrapped up in them. I’m sure they’re extremely busy so please be patient.

Update on Easy St. :

The road is open and water is back on. We will be back Monday to finish and clean up. We appreciate everyone’s patience. Big thank you to Four Seasons Plumbing for the quick response on the water line.

Update on Easy St:

We ran into a minor issue of a water line directly on top of the old culvert pipes we were replacing. We have a plumber coming to move the line tomorrow. The water will be turned off at 9 am. We’ll have the road back open to traffic by tomorrow evening.

We had to close a section of Easy St. (KK area) between St. Moritz and Hawk Island Dr. due to severe undermining of the roadway due to flooding. We plan on reopening the road Wednesday afternoon after we replace the culvert pipes. The area is currently barricaded. Please do not attempt to drive through.
