"Please, mom, more food?"
Arrow is a growing boy with an appetite that can put most teens' to shame 🫠
We offer him a varied diet and he is definitely not picky.

There is something truly captivating about a bird of prey. From the intricate patterns of its feathers to its piercing gaze and powerful beak, every detail tells a story of strength, resilience, and survival. Nature’s beauty is often found in the smallest details, and this magnificent raptor is a perfect reminder of just how extraordinary these birds are.
Every feather serves a purpose, every movement reflects instinct, and every glance reveals the wild spirit within. 💛
A beautiful reminder that wildlife is worth protecting, respecting, and preserving for generations to come. 🌿🪶

Arrow did fabulously at his first public appearance!! He still has some training yet to complete, as that will continue to keep him fit for programs and stimulated in his life here at EFWR. He is getting some more adult plumage in too!! We just absolutely love this bird.
A lot of folks called him a hawk, which is not quite true. Arrow is a falcon! So perfectly designed for speed and agility in flight that the military designed aircraft after them, one being my favorite plane the B-2 Stealth Bomber!
So what's your preference? Do you like Hawks or Falcons more? Tough choice,we agree!

I think she may need to be on a diet lol. We try to vary all the residents diets to prevent boredom. And they always love their dishes topped with bee pollen!

Happy National FOX DAY!! We love our foxes here at EFWR! Foxes are wonderful for rodent control!
They love mice, rats, rabbits, but they also will consume bugs, reptiles, etc. Foxes will eat based on seasonality and locale. In some places, Foxes may wat more fruits and nuts, while in others eat mostly whole prey.
