STUDENTS TOUR THE LEGACY AT JORDAN PARK: The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) welcomed Eckerd College Professor Jesse Sherry and students from his Sustainable Cities class for a tour of The Legacy at Jordan Park on October 8th. The visit provided students with an opportunity to explore the senior residential community and learn about modern approaches to senior housing in St. Petersburg. 🏢✨

The tour was led by Michael Lundy, President and CEO of SPHA, and Danielle Thomas, Sr. Vice President and COO of SPHA. Justin Corder, Vice President at Newstar Development, LLC, also shared insights during the visit.

HURRICANE PREPARED: The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) partnered with Pinellas County Emergency Management to help SPHA residents be hurricane ready. 🌀🌴📋

SPHA held two educational sessions on September 29th. One session was geared toward families and held at the SPHA Central Office, and the other was geared toward seniors and held at The Legacy at Jordan Park.

Both sessions were led by Jessica McCracken, Whole Community Readiness Coordinator with Pinellas County Government. 👏🌟

A BIG thank you to Jessica McCracken for helping our residents be hurricane ready! 💙

PUBLIC NOTICE: THE LEGACY AT JORDAN PARK - SENIOR MID-RISE PROJECT BASED VOUCHER (PBV) WAITING LIST

Due to technical difficulties, the opening of the waiting list for The Legacy at Jordan Park has been postponed until Monday, October 12, 2026.

📅 NEW OPENING DATE: Monday, October 12, 2026, at 8:00 AM
📅 NEW CLOSING DATE: Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM, OR once 400 qualified applications have been received, whichever occurs first.

The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) will be accepting pre-applications for The Legacy at Jordan Park Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Waiting List.

Available PBV Unit Types:
• 1-Bedroom Units
• 2-Bedroom Units

IMPORTANT: The admission requirements for The Legacy at Jordan Park senior mid-rise is: YOU MUST BE 62 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION
