Found a great military charities page. This could give you an idea of which ones to go to in your time of need without being concerned about whether or not they were legitimate.

Support a highly rated organization helping veterans, active or injured military personnel and their families.

If you know of a veteran or active military family that is in need this holiday season, please let us know so that we can make arrangements for them to at least receive gifts for the children in their family.

Just wanted to share . . .

We recently went through the grueling process of trying to locate a property to buy through the Federal VA Home Loan program. Our realtor was so patient and helpful throughout all of the offers and denials.

For our mortgage we went through Oswego Mortgage. I know, some people have had less than perfect experiences but I have to say, ours was flawless! I never dreamed we could get an order manufactured home on land, with a 2 car garage, financed through VA but they did it and at 2.75% interest! https://www.facebook.com/OswegoMortgage

So, if you are thinking of relocating in the mid Willamette Valley, give Lindsay a call or email. https://www.facebook.com/parkerteamcovenantrealestate

Welcome!

You are encouraged to share experiences, information, resources, etc. to assist other Veteran families. If we continue to support each other and build a safety net for all of our military families; active, reserve, veteran, survivors, we will get through these tough times together.

Recommend resources that have helped you.

Tell us what is going on in your family and how we can help. Everyone has a story. Share with us and let's see how we can collectively find a solution.

Please keep the negative stories to facts only. We all have had bad experiences, especially with organizations that claim to be there for us. It is unfortunate and sometimes tragic but we need to move on up the next rung of life's ladder.
