📬 2026 TAX STATEMENTS:📬

The 2026 property tax statements have been mailed and you should be receiving yours soon!

As always, tax bills should be paid by December 31, 2026, to avoid late fees.

⚠️ **PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT accept payments in our office!**⚠️

💵 PAYMENT OPTIONS💳
- Online: Visit www.sabinesheriff.org and select Payments> View and Pay Taxes.
- Mobile App: Download the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office app and select Payments > View and Pay Taxes.
- By Phone: Call 318-256-9241 and select option 1.
- In Person: Visit the Sheriff’s Office at 400 S. Capitol St., Room 105, Many, LA.
- By Mail: Include the payment remittance slip located at the bottom of your tax statement. **Please do not mail cash.**

Accepted Forms of Payment: Cash, money order, personal check, or debit/credit card.
Please be advised that a service charge will be assessed for debit and credit card payments.

⭐️The 2026 Sabine Parish Assessment Roll is Open!⭐️

As required by statute, the Open Book period is August 17–31, 2026.
We’re happy to speak with you anytime during the year, but NOW is the best time to review your property value before the tax roll is completed.
📍If you agree with your property assessment, no action is required.
📍If you have questions or disagree with your assessment, we're here to discuss your property value before the books close.
📍Open Roll Dates: August 17-31, 2026

📍Your options include:
• Visit our office or call during the Open Book period to discuss your assessment.
• File an appeal. You must submit a formal appeal directly to the Board of Review at the Sabine Parish Police Jury Office, Attn: Mr. Bill Weatherford, 400 S Capitol St., Room 101, Many, LA 71449
• Appeal forms are available in our office, on our website, or through the Louisiana Tax Commission. All forms and supporting documentation must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
• If you're requesting a review of your assessment, the following supporting documents would be useful:
• A recent appraisal
• Builder's contract
• Photos of the property
• Insurance coverage information

📍You may also qualify for a Homestead Exemption, Senior Freeze(Age 65 or older), or Disability Freeze. Veterans with 50-100% Service-Connected Disability also qualify for additional Homestead Exemption. Applications and additional Homestead Exemptions should be completed by September, 25th, 2026 in order to reflect on the 2026 tax notice.
