VA-enrolled Veterans can get flu and COVID-19 shots during scheduled VA primary care or specialty care appointments, at a Flu Clinic listed below (no appointment needed) except on holidays, or at a community in-network pharmacy or urgent care.

Turning 65? VA healthcare, Medicare and TRICARE For Life can work together. The right mix depends on your needs.

Your Medicare enrollment window runs from 3 months before to 3 months after the month you turn 65. Missing it can mean a lifelong penalty on your Part B premium.
Military retirees need both Medicare Part A and Part B to keep TRICARE.
Medicare covers you outside the VA system.
Still working? Check with your employer's benefits office before you delay Part B.
