Proud to be the medical and hydration support for the NJROTC competition at Milton High School today. Teams from the panhandle and even Mississippi were looking strong and sharp as they worked to be the best. You can be proud of these young Americans and the solid leadership behind them.

Santa Rosa CERT and ARES is proud and honored to be a part of the team.

We wanted to provide some clarification on debris removal passes.

There will be multiple passes for debris removal.

In a typical storm event, it takes an average of three passes to collect all debris from roadways. However, the amount of debris from this storm is far greater than usual.

Crews will make as many passes as necessary to collect all storm debris.

Residents will receive plenty of advance notice before the final pass is made, so everyone has time to ensure their debris is placed for collection.

For more information on debris removal, visit https://www.santarosa.fl.gov/1199/Hurricane-Isaias-Debris-Information.
