Two-hundred and fifty years ago, the fight for American independence ran directly through New Jersey and this year represents a unique opportunity to showcase the spirit of American exceptionalism that was forged here at the crossroads of the American Revolution.

This commemorative license plate will not only honor our Revolutionary heritage, but it will also help preserve the historic sites and treasures that tell the story of our nation’s founding for generations to come.

The New Jersey Senate passed bipartisan legislation sponsored by Senator Jim Holzapfel (R-Monmouth, Ocean) to create a special 250th American Revolutionary War license plate. Under the bill, A-23

If Democrats applied the same urgency to funding schools as they do to protecting criminally convicted illegal immigrants, districts in Monmouth and Ocean County may not have to cut programs and lay off teachers to make ends meet. It’s remarkable how quickly Governor Sherrill and Trenton Democrats found $20 million to appease far-left protestors, yet somehow can’t find the resources to prevent cuts in the classroom.

If Governor Sherrill can’t get her priorities straight, New Jersey is in for a very long four years, assuming voters decide she deserves all four.

Senator Jim Holzapfel (R-Monmouth, Ocean) called out the hypocrisy of Democrats and the Sherrill Administration for finding $20 million to fund illegal immigration defense programs while schools are f

For over a century, New Jersey earned the reputation as a business-friendly state, where innovative companies could grow, invest, and create good-paying careers. In just nine years under a Democratic majority, we’ve watched that legacy unravel.

Senator Jim Holzapfel (R-Monmouth, Ocean) released the following statement after global energy giant ExxonMobil and tech leader Samsung announced plans to relocate their headquarters from New Jersey t

The Senate Transportation Committee passed bipartisan legislation sponsored by Senator Jim Holzapfel (R-Ocean, Monmouth) to create a special 250th American Revolutionary War license plate. Any bill that limits cooperation between local law enforcement and federal authorities raises serious public safety concerns. Our amendment would have ensured that when violent offenders who came to this country illegally are released back into our communities, federal officials are notified. That is a basic safeguard.

When Democrats blocked that simple protection, they made it impossible to support legislation that leaves our communities exposed to unnecessary risk.

Senator Jim Holzapfel (R-Monmouth, Ocean) said recent actions by Democrats in Trenton and Washington show a troubling pattern of political gamesmanship that puts ideology ahead of public safety and makes life harder for New Jersey families.

On this 24th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember our fellow Americans, including the 750 New Jerseyans who tragically lost their lives. We honor the courage, spirit, and resilience of our first responders and we stand united, stronger together.

The news of Charlie Kirk’s assassination has left us stunned with grief and indignation. Charlie was a fearless and passionate advocate, never afraid to speak his mind or stand firm in his beliefs. His murder is not just a personal tragedy—it’s an attack on the principles of free expression and civil discourse.

There is absolutely no place for political violence in our society.

Our hearts are with his wife, and their two young children, and all who knew him. May they find comfort in the impact he made and the values he championed. His voice may have been silenced, but his cause must not be. Justice must be done, and as a nation, we must stand united against the forces that seek to divide us through fear and violence.

Legislators from the 10th district released the following statement on the death of Charlie Kirk.
