Yesterday, I had the honor of celebrating Mr. F’s graduation from our Municipal Veterans Treatment Court.

His positive attitude and determination were among his greatest strengths throughout this journey. Mr. F is someone I will never forget.

Congratulations🇺🇸

Finished my Room A/Duty Week!

Duty week means I’m on call 24 hours a day for search warrants. Each morning, I preside over criminal arraignments and set bonds in felony and misdemeanor cases.

This week included approximately 448 cases, 32 warrants, 12 weddings, and one afternoon trial.

Thank you to everyone who helps keep Room A running smoothly and the docket moving efficiently.

Have a great weekend!

Monday and Tuesday arraignments have been steady and productive in Room A.

One of the bright sides of Room A week is officiating weddings in the afternoon. Over the last two days, I’ve had the honor of presiding over 5 weddings.

Congratulations and best wishes to all the newlyweds.

This memory popped up today from five years ago, and it still hangs in my courtroom.

People notice and stop to read this plaque all the time, and it is such a powerful reminder of service, sacrifice, and the men and women who have served our country.

The story behind the flag:

This flag was given to me by CW3 Chris Richter, a UH-60 MEDEVAC helicopter pilot with C Co 2-238th.

CW3 Richter was deployed in the Middle East from October 17, 2019 through October 18, 2020. During that deployment, this flag traveled with him through Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq.

It was also flown above the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City on September 11, 2020.

What an honor to have this flag and its story displayed where so many can see it. 🇺🇸
