Judge Peoples-Waters has been reelected without opposition!

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey, one that began over 17 years ago with her first judicial application and continues today because of your belief and commitment.

In 2020, we didn’t just win an election, we made history. Judge Peoples-Waters became the first Black attorney in our circuit elected to the bench without prior appointment. As this moment reflects, that distinction matters. Diversity invites fairness and community trust.

Today, that history carries forward as she is returned to the bench. This is bigger than a milestone. It’s what it looks like when doors are opened and stay open for those coming next.
