BIG NEWS: House Bill 311, sponsored by Rep. Erika White, has officially passed the Ohio Senate and is headed to the Governor’s desk.
HB 311 would designate the 3rd week of May as EMS Week in Ohio, honoring our first responders who answer the call, save lives, and serve communities across our state every day.
This is an important step in recognizing the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of Ohio’s EMS workers!

House Bill 31, sponsored by Rep. Latyna M. Humphrey, would require electronic recordings of all parole board hearings. This would increase transparency, accountability, and public trust in Ohio’s parole process.
is taking an important step toward ensuring fairness, protecting the integrity of the process, and giving families, victims, and communities greater confidence in decisions that carry life-changing consequences.
Next the bill comes back to the House for another vote.
