Donations to our Inclusive Playground Project Fund can be made at the Christkindl market! Details in the post below!
Don't forget to stop and see us at our future Foundation home at 124 South Lynn Street during the Christkindl Market in Bryan this Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3. We will be open from 4-8 p.m. so shoppers can warm up, check out our new office, and donate to a Bryan Area Foundation Fund in memory or honor of a loved one.
As a reminder, anyone contributing to the Foundation will receive a greeting card that can be given to the recipient or family, denoting your gift. All donations to the Bryan Inclusive Playground will receive a specially made card created and designed by a Bryan Elementary or St. Patrick School student. Inspired by the visit and motivating speech Aaron 'Wheelz' Fotheringham gave, these Inclusive Playground cards express the student's thoughts on what it means to "play together." Preschool through second-grade schoolchildren colored their provided card design while third through sixth graders hand-drew their ideas. The Bryan Area Foundation marketing committee chose which artist from each grade level won a ten-dollar Dairy Queen Brazier gift card. Winners also received printed cards for their families to use.
Let the Foundation help you with your holiday shopping this season. Donate to any of our funds and get a tax deduction. But even better is knowing that your contribution will continue to benefit Williams County residents for future generations.
