Shiprock Unity Club and Robotics Team Spread Halloween Joy in Shiprock

The Shiprock Unity Club, in partnership with the Sheeprock Tech Robotics Team, participated in a successful Trick-or-Treat event hosted by the Office of Diné Youth – Shiprock Branch on October 28, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.

The event brought the Halloween spirit to life as children and families enjoyed exciting games, received candies, and shared smiles. Activities included a ring toss game and robot shooting, where kids had the chance to experience the fun of robotics while enjoying the Halloween celebration.

The Halloween spirit continued on October 30 during lunchtime, as the Unity Club and robotics team brought the fun and excitement to students at school. This additional activity gave more students the opportunity to participate, enjoy the games, and receive treats.

Through these partnerships and activities, the Unity Club and robotics team helped create fun and welcoming experiences for children and students in the Shiprock community. The events highlighted the importance of teamwork, community involvement, and giving back while inspiring young minds through interactive activities.

It was a wonderful celebration filled with laughter, treats, and memorable experiences, reminding everyone that small acts of kindness and collaboration can bring great joy to the community. 🏃‍♂️🎈🤣 THE GREAT CHIEFTAIN INFLATABLE RACE OF 2026! 🤣🎈🏃‍♀️

What a FUN Friday at Shiprock High School! ❤️🖤🤍

Today during Advisory, our Chieftain student body gathered at the football field for the 1st Annual Chieftain Staff Inflatable Costume Race! 🏁🎉

We had 12 brave staff members suit up in their hilarious inflatable costumes and take to the field for a race filled with laughter, excitement,
and some unforgettable moments! 😂

The BEST part? OUR STUDENTS! 🙌👏 The cheers, laughter, and encouragement from our Chieftains made the event even more special! The energy was incredible as students rooted for their favorite staff members!

Events like these remind us that school is more than just academics. It’s about building relationships, creating memories, strengthening school spirit, and having a little FUN along the way!

👏 A HUGE THANK YOU to our 12 staff participants for being great sports and stepping outside their comfort zones to bring smiles to our students’ faces!

❤️🖤 ONE SCHOOL. ONE FAMILY. ONE CHIEFTAIN NATION!

Who says school can’t be FUN?! 🤣🎈
