We just returned from a road trip out west, where we met some CMA folks! At different rest stops we met Madella Shelton, Chaplain of the Righteous Riders, Chapter #568, from Weatherford/Clinton, OK, and Doug South, Western Regional Evangelist. Doug and his wife were on their way to the Changing of the Colors Rally in Mena, AR. Traveling from Oregon, they were covering 600-700 miles a day! We also met a group of Utah bikers heading to Colorado and I gave them each a CMA business card. My CMA flag got tattered on the trip, so it's time to get a new one!

I had a fun time at the Warlock’s Crab Feast today. I ate a plate of crabs and made a new friend: Dennis, from the Rebellious Few, a motorcycle club from Romney, WV, that I’d never heard of. I gave Dennis my CMA business card and told him to contact me the next time they’re having a ride or a fundraiser. I also met two members from the Keyser, WV CMA chapter, the Last Days Disciples. There were a lot of bikes there. Some of the Warlocks rode in from New Jersey, Minnesota, Florida, and some other states. I also found another new patch I hadn’t seen, the Keepers MC. They had live music and bike games. It was a good time.

You missed a great ride today! I went with the Ohana Pride MC on the back roads from Strasburg, VA up Route 11 through Stephen’s City, Wi******er, Stephenson and Inwood. Stopped for lunch, then went to Summit Point and circled back through more back roads to Route 522. We had a van full of ladies and kids following us!

I made a new friend yesterday! Brian Miles lives near Harrisonburg, VA. He contacted me recently and asked for a bike blessing before he goes on a cross-country tour. He rode up yesterday and we met at the Crooked Run Park & Ride in Front Royal, where I catch a bus to and from Washington, DC. I blessed his bike and gave him a few CMA goodies. Brian has a friend in Wi******er and said he wants to ride with us, so hopefully we’ll be seeing more of him!

During the afternoon on July 11, Mark, Shawn and I attended the potluck and Celebration of Life event for ZZ, the Sorry Souls President, at their clubhouse in Falling Waters, WV. After the potluck event, ZZ’s daughter gave a eulogy for him, and a friend of the family gave a Christ-centered message along with his own eulogy for ZZ. Several of the bikers in the crowd raised their hands in praise as he was doing it! It was amazing! Never judge a book by its cover! ❤️🙏

We had a great time at the Lansdowne Heights nursing home in Leesburg, VA on July 11th! I gave a brief presentation about CMA and Run for the Son. We talked with several of the residents and learned about their lives before retirement. From the nursing assistants we learned that a number of the residents are former doctors, business people, lawyers, military officers and engineers. It gave us an appreciation for the brevity of Life (James 4:14). The residents loved our motorcycles and our riding stories! We had a good lunch at the More Better restaurant near Round Hill, VA!
