Directions

EPA STAR Climate Change Adaption Grant We are able to provide services such as home well water testing to homes within the Crow Indian Reservation.

The main objectives of our EPA STAR Climate Change Adaption Grant are (1) to research how climate change is affecting, and is projected to affect local water sources, especially home well water, and (2) to determine how those changes to water are impacting and could impact public health, particularly waterborne diseases, on the Crow Indian Reservation. We test for E.coli and Coliform contamination within the water as well as nitrate, manganese, and uranium impurities. A survey and consent form is required from the individuals for well water testing. We provide information and brochures on various water borne disease associated within the Crow Indian Reservation. Traditional Apsaalooke teachings of water are also implemented within the project.
