Fast on his feet, soft at heart 🐾💨

Kevin may look like a little athlete in action, but this compact pittie mix is just as happy being your mellow sidekick at home. He’s crate trained, house trained, sleeps through the night, and is the ultimate work-from-home buddy quietly snoozing by your side while you take calls and get things done. No separation anxiety here. He’s perfectly content relaxing in his crate or hanging solo when you head out.

He lives peacefully with foster sis and would thrive with a confident pup to follow around. Kevin already knows sit, wait, and crate, is working on shake and lay down, and is food-motivated and eager to learn. A little timid at first, he just needs a home that will go slow and let him build confidence.

Once you’re in, you’re in. He’s cuddly, affectionate, easy to handle, and ready to be your adventure buddy for life.

If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever 🕊️

Earl Grey, The Duke, was loved beyond words. He never let his past define him and while he came to us in poor condition, he blossomed in foster care. He gained much needed weight, his coat grew back healthy and shiny, and he loved nothing more than cuddling and being cozy with his foster family.

Despite his care teams’ best efforts and aggressive supportive care, Earl continued to decline today and ultimately was becoming septic.

It’s with heavy hearts we disclose that Earl could not overcome his illness, and we were left with making the painful, yet compassionate decision to end his suffering.

Earl was surrounded by his foster family, who loved him so deeply, and we hope he carried that love with him across the rainbow bridge. Rest easy big guy 🩶🧡

While we may never know what life was like for Earl Grey before he found us, we do know this: his golden years were always meant to be the very best chapter of his story.

When Earl arrived, he was heartbreakingly thin, emaciated, with overgrown nails and a brittle, neglected coat. But even then, he carried himself with a quiet dignity. With good food, warm beds, and gentle love from his foster, he began to blossom. For the first time in a long time, he felt safe.

Yesterday, everything changed.

Earl started vomiting, and his foster mom rushed him to the emergency vet. The diagnosis devastated us: Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. He is losing blood. His fragile body is filled with fluid. The inflammation is so severe that doctors couldn’t even visualize his pancreas on ultrasound.

Right now, Earl Grey is hospitalized, fighting through pain with the same quiet grace he’s always shown. He is so close to the happy ending he deserves- a forever home. We cannot let his story end here. Earl Grey needs a miracle and he needs all of us.

Emergency hospitalization is costly, but every single dollar brings him closer to stability, healing, and the second chance he has worked so hard for. Your gift isn’t just a donation. It’s more time. More comfort. More love.

This sweet boy is safe now and settling into a life full of love, comfort, and just the right amount of spoiling while he searches for his forever home. From here on out, Ronnie’s story is all about second chances, soft beds, full bellies, and people who adore him.

Malcom is out of surgery and recovering. There was A LOT of who knows what inside him. It’s so compacted and our best guess is it’s been bouncing around and twisting and turning in there for awhile.

This is a prime example of unexpected expenses that rescues face. We have been pouring resources into Malcom for his separation anxiety, neuter, and general vetting… then this happens. We can’t deny a dog a *life saving* surgery. But we do need to ask for help.

An emergency like this will set us back, but we will keep trying our best to provide the best care we can to all of our dogs. Thank you to anyone and everyone who has shared his story, pleaded for his rescue, and to his amazing care team at that has been there for him since arriving to us. 🫶"

Percy is searching for a new foster—and what he wants more than anything is connection. At about 65 lbs, this sweet, silly, incredibly social boy absolutely loves people and other dogs. His desire to be with others runs deep. And the best thing we can do for Percy is accept that enthusiasm for what it is: a big heart looking for safety and belonging.

Percy needs a foster home with a predictable routine and people who understand that settling in takes time.

He’ll thrive with a family who isn’t away for long stretches, or who is patient and willing to help him gradually acclimate and feel secure.

We know it’s a tough time of year to open your home, but Percy isn’t asking for perfection—just understanding, patience, and a soft place to land where he can finally exhale.
