Summit County Shop With a Cop This is a program that helps disadvantaged children, children battling illness, and military children and their families purchase gifts for the holidays.

Every year, the shop with a cop program chooses children to sponsor from the Summit County area that may need some help for the holidays. The children get to go shopping at Walmart with local police officers and even get to ride along in a police car. We help children from disadvantaged families, children who are battling illness and children of the military and their families. We also choose a child from the oncology department at Children's hospital to participate in honor of one of our past participants.
