MELD PrintWorks Corporation is set to expand their facilities in Montgomery County. With an investment of $3 million, MELD will be constructing a new 12,000-square-foot facility that will allow the company to scale up their metal 3D printing operations and manufacture larger components. According to the Montgomery County press release, it will be built “on the same property as Aeroprobe Corporation and MELD Manufacturing Corporation.”

Congratulations, Virginia's AM2 Tech Hub!

The U.S. Economic Development Administration just announced that AM2 has been awarded a $24.8 million grant to support workforce development in advanced manufacturing in southwest and southern Virginia.

AM2 Tech Hubs is an initiative spanning industry, government, higher education, and economic development partners across the New River Valley, Southern Virginia, Roanoke, and Lynchburg regions.
