It's almost time for the annual Student Storytelling Festival at GRAIS. Fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh grade students have been working hard since October, and their creativity is so inspiring.

Nineteen students will be sharing folktales, fairytales, noodlehead stories, myths, and a scary tale or two. They will be telling/performing the stories, NOT reading them.

Please join us at this free event, to support these fabulous students.

Date: Friday, March 20, 2026
Time: 6:30PM to 8:00PM (festival begins promptly at 6:30.)
Location: GRAIS cafetorium
12 Howland Rd.
Lakeville

There will be a short intermission in the middle of the show and a brief awards ceremony at the end. I promise you will be delighted!

🌡️ Lakeville Cooling Center Information

The Town of Lakeville is prepared to assist residents during periods of excessive heat and high humidity that can create dangerous conditions. When the National Weather Service issues a heat advisory, a Cooling Center will be made available by request.

📍 Location:
Lakeville Council on Aging
1 Dear Crossing (next to Ted Williams Camp / Loon Pond Lodge)

📞 To Request Cooling Center Access:
Call 508-947-4121

The facility will be opened only if requests for assistance are received. Lakeville Firefighters and the Council on Aging leadership will ensure the site is ready for those needing relief from the heat.

Be a Good Neighbor
We encourage residents to check on elderly family members, friends, and neighbors, especially those who live alone, have medical conditions, or lack air conditioning.
