Jesus knew Judas would betray Him and still washed his feet.

Whew.

Forgiveness does not require hatred.
And love does not require unlimited access.

You can release the offense without restoring the relationship to what it was.

You can pray for them and still have boundaries.
You can love them and still recognize that their access has changed.
You can forgive without handing them the keys to the version of you God helped rebuild.

Because forgiveness deals with what’s in your heart.

Access requires trust.

And those are not the same thing.

You are not rebuilding from nothing.
You are rebuilding from what remains. 💙

This birthday weekend feels different.

Yesterday, I officially opened preorders for my newest book, She Walks With God Even When It Hurts: Strengthen What Remains™.

This book was not written from theory. It was written through transition, loss, rebuilding, faith, leadership, boundaries, disappointment, purpose, and the decision to keep showing up when life did not look the way I expected it to.

There are seasons when success is not measured by how fast you move. Sometimes success is simply that you kept going.

That is what this book represents for me.

It is for the woman who has prayed, cried, carried more than she thought she could carry, and still knows there is purpose on the other side of what she has been through.
