Three of our Cadettes have taken Campn Butterworth's slingshot range from drab to fab!

They are hosting a Grand Reopening on Sunday, September 27, 1–3:00pm at Camp Butterworth. Besides checkingi out the newly redesigned and rebuilt range, you can learn how to fire slingshots, try it out, and find out how to facilitate this activity with your troop.

Valley Ridge Cadette Allie is hosting a Brownie Pet Badge workshop as part of her Silver Award, and there's still plenty of room!

Girls will learn about various pets, play bingo and make treat toys for dogs at Cincinnati Animal CARE.

Girls are encouraged to bring donations for the shelter, as well as toilet paper or paper towel rolls for making treat toys.

When: Sunday September 13 10:00am–noon
Where: GSWO Cincinnati Office 4930 Cornell Rd, 45242
Cost: FREE
Capacity: 40 girls

Calling all runners!

Ridge & Repeat is a new community run created as part of a Valley Ridge Ambassador's Girl Scout Gold Award project.

After months of working with the City of Cincinnati, navigating permits, street closures, insurance, safety requirements, and all of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into organizing a road race, we are less than TWO WEEKS away!

🏃 1, 2, or 3 miles
👕 Custom shirt for the first 300 participants
🏅 Custom finisher medal for the first 300 participants

The race is a one-mile neighborhood loop, so whether you want to run one mile, challenge yourself to three, or just come out for a fun community run—there’s an option for you.
