A Family’s Vision

Viva Coffee House was started by a family obsessed with good coffee and loving the connection a local coffee house brings to a community. Cheryl Dunker took her daughters Andrea and Keri to many a coffee shop over the years, exposing them to the culture. Cheryl and her husband Rick began dreaming of running their own coffee shop in the early 2000’s, but the Recession put their plans on hold. The entire family moved from Oregon to the Vail, Arizona area in 2017 and saw the need for a higher level of coffee and a more sublime experience than the usual coffee chains can offer. So mother and daughter collaborated (and their husbands helped!) to build a place to have a great experience, meet, work on a laptop, or just sit and enjoy a special moment to oneself. So welcome to Viva Coffee House from the Dunkers and the Walkers. We’re glad to have you here!
