Requiescat in pace, Pope emeritus Benedict XVI.

May the choirs of angels come to greet you.

“Had I many thousands of lives I would offer them all for him. Never shall I apostatize. You may kill me if that is what you want. To die for God—such is my will”

Powerful words of a saint.

San Lorenzo Ruiz, ora pro nobis.

How true!

“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes” (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Have an awesome weekend!

The presence of Christ in the Eucharist is real, true, and substantial.
Eucharist "makes present the one sacrifice of Christ the Savior." (CCC, no. 1330)

“How good is our God! When we can no longer come to Him, He comes to us.”

On this day, I was looking for quotes of our parish’s saint, and I found this. A beautiful quote, so important in times of struggle.

Brothers and sisters, if we are struggling to run towards God today, try and walk. If we are struggling to walk towards God today, try and crawl. If we are hurting so much today that we may not be able to even crawl, it is okay.

He comes to us.

St. Jean Marie Vianney, Ora pro nobis.
