Im typically not one for self promotion…but I am in a competition for America’s Favorite Teacher to try to win an assembly for my district (Random Lake) with Bill Nye the Science Guy and $25,000 that I would not use for personal gain, but in my mission to pay for field trips and expierences for my students.

The Conservation Fair was born out of this want to help my students have meaningful experiences and I would appreciate your vote. You can vote once every 24 hours per Facebook account. If I am still the first in my group by April 23, I will go onto the national semifinals!

(And I will be emailing raffle winners tomorrow 😉 Thank you for the support!)

I love teaching science specifically because seeing sparks of interest or genuine curiosity in my students brings me joy!

I will be contacting people who won raffle prizes Monday through Friday of this week via email and phone to arrange pick up options. Thanks to everyone that bought raffle tickets! 🎟️

Because of your generosity many students going on our whitewater rafting trip on Wednesday are getting a portion of their field trip fee paid for to help make outdoor experiences accessible to all!
