So here it is! I finally got my music wall finished. Basically the entire bottom shelf of that case is my dad's vinyl and I'm sure some of that is worth something but I need to get it appraised. Probably won't sell it anyway LOL. Top right of the record case is what albums of mine are left and the top left are the rest of my 45s and then I put some of my favorite 45s up on the wall. And above that the Dickson's record store sign from Mount Airy when I grew up. That was where I probably bought most of that vinyl and when my friend owned the building and record store finally shut down after decades, he let me take the sign. I've been waiting for a few years to put this up and get the wall situated and here it is. So many memories on that wall.

So proud of my "Sister In Purple"! She just dropped her latest song paying tribute to Prince
Shelby J is from Greensboro and we are all so proud of her career especially the days she sang with His Royal Badness as a member of the New Power Generation. Remember the Super Bowl when it rained during "Purple Rain". Yep, she was there. Please check out her song. She's a lifetime dear friend and deserves all the love. 💜💜💜 Shelby J.

No one. And I mean no one. Deserves more love and respect and honor than Ed Matthews. He is a legend in Triad television and I am honored that I got to work with him for 21 years and it's kind of crazy that I had a 36-year career in television all across the southeast but 30 of them were here, but look at Ed's career and I don't even come close to matching up. He is one of a kind and I, and everybody that worked with him, will always love him. And you deserve this, Ed. Stop being humble and accept it and go have a great time. I can't wait for all the dinners and cocktails we can have together in the future my friend. Happy retirement!!!! WFMY News 2 Ed Matthews Lauren Coleman Meghann Mollerus
