❤️ That’s a wrap on the 2026 camping season! 🏕️🍂

As we close the gates for the season, our hearts are full of gratitude for another wonderful year filled with beautiful memories, familiar faces, new friendships, campfires, laughter, and so many special moments here at the campground.

To all of our campers, whether you’ve been with us for years or just joined us this season, thank you for being part of our campground family. You are what makes this place so special, and it’s the people who come through these gates that make all the hard work worth it. We are so thankful for every visit, every conversation, every smile, and every memory made along the way. ❤️

As much as we hate to say goodbye for the winter, we know the seasons must change, and before we know it, spring will be here again! Until then, we hope you enjoy a wonderful fall and winter surrounded by the people you love, and we hope you carry a little piece of the campground with you until we meet again.

🗓️ We will officially reopen on April 1, 2027! 🌷☀️

Until then, keep those camping memories close, start dreaming about your next adventures, and know that we’ll be looking forward to welcoming everyone back home to the campground.

Thank you for another amazing season. We couldn’t do it without each and every one of you!

Until next season, friends — stay safe, stay warm, and remember, the best memories are made together. ❤️🏕️🍁

With love and gratitude,
Your Campground Family ❤️

🏈💜💛 PANTHER GAME REPORT — AND THIS ONE MIGHT BE THE BEST YET! 💛💜🏈

I promised you a good game report, and let me tell you, our Panthers DELIVERED! 🔥🐾

🏈 K1 — UNION COUNTY 35 | RABUN COUNTY 0

Our littlest Panthers headed over to Rabun County and found themselves in their favorite spot… THE UNDERDOG!

Now, Jolly, who makes the weekly predictions, is a friend to Union County. Sometimes I think he just likes to motivate our boys! Well, Jolly, if that was the plan, IT WORKED! Those boys showed up motivated, took care of business, and didn’t give up a single point!

35-0! 💪

🏈 2ND GRADE — 25-0

We’ll give Jolly credit where credit is due. He got this prediction right! But our 2nd graders weren’t just looking for a win. They weren’t letting anybody put points on that scoreboard!

25-0 SHUTOUT! 🔥

🏈 3RD GRADE — 41-0

Meanwhile, over in Chestatee, our 3rd graders apparently got the memo that Union County was NOT allowing points today!

They weren’t about to be the first team to break that streak, so they laid down the law!

41-0! ANOTHER SHUTOUT! 💪

🏈 5TH GRADE — OVERTIME THRILLER!

Now, THIS ONE! 😳

Our 5th graders took on Lakeview, and Jolly had us predicted to lose by just two points. We knew we were probably in for a close one.

But remember, these boys suffered a heartbreaking loss to White County two weeks ago in TRIPLE OVERTIME.

Surely we weren’t going to do overtime again, right?

WRONG!

ANOTHER OVERTIME GAME! Another nail-biter! Another game that probably took a few years off the lives of our coaches and parents!

But this time…

THE PANTHERS GOT THE DUB IN OT! 💪🏈

I couldn’t be prouder of these boys and their coaches. They just keep fighting!

🏈 6TH GRADE — 56-0

And then there’s 6th grade!

These boys lived up to the hype, shut them down, had a little fun, and TOOK IT TO THE HOUSE!

56-0! 🔥

I’d say they made a statement!

💜💛 UNION COUNTY, WHAT A DAY!

Five wins. Four shutouts. An overtime thriller. And a whole lot of Panther pride!

Now, as far as playoff spots go, things are a little messy in one grade. I’m going to let the MAC work through all of that before I open my mouth and create myself another headache! Once everything is finalized, I’ll make an official announcement.

But today, we’re celebrating these kids and coaches! What a way to finish the regular season! I’m so proud of every single one of you!

🍁 AND THE DAY WASN’T OVER!

After football, we headed to the Sorghum Festival, and what a great time! There’s just something special about fall in Union County. Football, festivals, good people, and a community that shows up!

📣 TOMORROW, YOU HAVE TWO GREAT OPTIONS!

🍂 Head back out and enjoy the Sorghum Festival!

💜💛 Or come cheer on our amazing Panther cheerleaders as they take the mat at the CHEER BOWL! They’ve worked so hard, and now it’s their turn to shine!

I don’t know about y’all, but weekends like this remind me just how blessed we are to call Union County home.

GO PANTHERS AND HAPPY FALL, Y’ALL!🐾💜💛
